USCG Approved Courses

First Aid/CPR

In addition to being information that everyone – mariners and non-mariners alike - should know, this is the USCG-approved 8-hour course required for your initial license.

The course is broken down into three parts: initial emergency response, adult CPR and basic First Aid.

Written and practical exams will be given for First Aid and CPR, and students must pass each in order to earn the certificate. Upon completion of the course, the student will submit the certificate, along with other application requirements, in order to obtain/keep a license. (For those students who aren't mariners, the certificate can be presented to any employer, etc., who requires CPR/First Aid.)

Please call if you have any questions regarding license requirements.

See course schedules and cost for more information.
