This 1-day course is designed for students who already hold the Radar Observer endorsement and need to get it recertified (every five years).
This course includes manual and simulator radar plotting designed to refresh and test the student's knowledge of radar plotting.
Upon completion of the course, students take a USCG-approved exam right here at AMA. A certificate of completion will be given if the student successfully passes the exam. The student can then submit that certificate to the USCG to renew the endorsement to their license.
